By booking and participating in a session with Pneuma of Life, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined below:
1. Nature of Sound Baths and Acknowledgment.:
I understand that participating in a sound bath offered by Pneuma of Life may involve relaxation, altered states of consciousness, and the potential for emotional release. While sound baths are generally considered a safe and gentle modality, I acknowledge that unexpected physical or emotional sensations may arise during or after a session. These sensations can vary from person to person.
2. Voluntary Participation:
I am voluntarily choosing to participate in this sound bath session and understand that my participation is at my own risk. I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation.
3. Health Conditions and Responsibility:
I confirm that I have disclosed to Pneuma of Life any physical or mental health conditions that might be affected by a sound bath, including but not limited to epilepsy, sound sensitivity, pregnancy, significant mental health conditions, or any other relevant medical conditions. I understand that it is my sole responsibility to consult with my physician or healthcare provider if I have any concerns about participating in a sound bath. I acknowledge that Pneuma of Life facilitators are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice.
4. Release and Waiver of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Pneuma of Life, its owner(s), employees, contractors, and facilitators (collectively, “Pneuma of Life Parties”) from any and all claims, actions, demands, rights, causes of action, damages, losses, expenses, and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, which I may now have or hereafter acquire, arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in any sound bath session provided by Pneuma of Life, including but not limited to any injury, illness, discomfort, emotional distress, or any other adverse effects that I may experience.
5. Emergency Medical Treatment:
I hereby consent to receive emergency medical treatment if necessary in the event of injury or illness during the sound bath session, and I agree that the Pneuma of Life Parties shall not be liable for any actions taken in connection with such treatment.
6. Booking and Payment:
* Bookings for sound bath sessions can be made through the Pneuma of Life website [pneumaoflife.com] or as otherwise specified.
* Payment is due at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods are PayPal & Credit Card.
* All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
* Participants may NOT cancel or reschedule their session.
* If Pneuma of Life needs to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
8. Code of Conduct:
To ensure a peaceful and respectful environment for all participants, I agree to:
* Arrive on time for the scheduled session.
* Maintain a quiet and respectful demeanor during the sound bath.
* Silence all electronic devices before the session begins.
* Follow any instructions provided by the sound bath facilitator.
9. Privacy Policy:
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing Pneuma of Life’s services and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws in Ontario.
10. Intellectual Property:
Any guided meditations, recordings, or other materials provided by Pneuma of Life are protected by copyright and are for personal use only. I agree not to reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without the express written permission of Pneuma of Life.
11. Disclaimer of Guarantees:
I understand that while sound baths can offer potential benefits, Pneuma of Life does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from participating in a session. The experience and benefits may vary for each individual.
12. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Ontario, the total liability of the Pneuma of Life Parties for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the provision of services shall be limited to the amount paid by the Participant for the specific sound bath session in question. The Pneuma of Life Parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
14. Entire Agreement:
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and Pneuma of Life with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
By proceeding with the booking of a sound bath session with Pneuma of Life, I acknowledge that I have carefully read, understood, and agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and Terms of Service.
